Senior Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician Full‑time
Compensation: Average $44,000–$75,000 annually, depending on hours worked.
Location: Northern Illinois (roughly a 15‑mile radius around Downers Grove).
Track: Work‑to‑Own (licensed partner) available for top performers.
You’ll clean, repair, install, and alter dryer vent ductwork. You’ll also remove bird nests from 4″ vents in homes and businesses, typically in bathrooms and kitchens. Importantly, you’ll educate customers on the process and share ways to improve dryer performance and save energy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Good driving record and background check.
- 2+ years of dryer vent cleaning experience.
- Vehicle large enough for tools and a 24‑foot ladder.
- Excellent people skills and professional appearance.
- Comfort working behind dryers, in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs.
- Own essential tools to complete jobs efficiently.
